  I'll admit, I was rather impressed when I tried to unpack a zoo
archive compressed with a newer ZOO and the older ZOO program told me
to go get a newer version.  But, just because ZOO has this feature
doesn't mean that it's so much better.
  I know that ZOO too has managed to stump many a usenet user. (like
remember to pack after delete).

  In any case, I won't argue that dead end too far since Questor's
lharc by itself is by no means user friendly.  But I would ask again
that ZOO add an option similar to the one in Lha v1.00:

  w=<dir> specify extract directory

  Doesn't seem too big of a request, and it would make ZOO that much
better and easier for many users.
