  15. I have a few questions about the difference between the Atari 1040 STE
  16. and the Atari MEGA STE.  Apart from the obvious difference in looks
  17. I can't seem to find much information regarding the difference between
  18. the two.  I've heard that the MEGA has the same CPU (68000), but that
  19. it runs at a faster clock speed than the 1040 (16 MHz vs. 8 MHz, 
  20. respectively).  Are there any differences in graphics modes?  Do they
  21. both support SCSI?  Why should I consider the MEGA STE over the 1040STE?
  22. I understand that both machines incorporate BLITTER and PCM stereo sound.
  23. The only considerable difference I can find is that the MEGA is shipped with
  24. TOS 2.06 as opposed to TOS 1.6.  At any rate, can anyone tell me why
  25. I should buy a MEGA as opposed to the 1040 (STE)???
