  20. 2 years ago I bought an Atari XE Game System from Toys R Us at a clearance pric
  21. e of $80.  I bought it to replace my 400 which had died earlier.  The other day
  22.  I noticed that the XE is still at the same store at the same clearance price.
  23.  Is there anyplace else that actually sells new Atari XE's besides there?  A fr
  24. iend of mine gave me 2 old, big, slow Atari 810 floppy drives, along with a few
  25.  shoeboxes full of disks, and some other junque.

  27. I can't find any "new" software for the XE at the store anymore.  When was the
  28. last year any cartridge and disk games <software> was manufactured for the 8-bi
  29. t Ataris?  <--sp?  Most of the stuff I have is early 80's, and is rather bad fr
  30. om the graphics point of view.  Is there any other game for which the light gun
  31.  is good for besides Bug Hunt?

  33. Last year I saw a 1200 baud Atari Modem beand new at a ham feat for $20.  I sho
  34. uld have bought it.  It had an RS-232 port and the IO port for the Atari.  What
  35.  is the name of this modem and is there anyone selling it that cheap new anymor
  36. e?

  38. I had a voice synthisizer program called S.A.M., but it no longer works.  Is th
  39. ere anyplace where I can get another copy?

  41. Also, the cable connecting the keyboard to the computer has a short in it.  Any
  42. one have a new keyboard cheap?

  44. Bottom line is that I am looking for:
  45. 1.  "New" software
  46. 2.  The modem which I described
  47. 3.  A better disk drive
  48. 4.  New keyboard
  49. 5.  S.A.M. replacement
  50.  
  51. I am glad to see that a lot of people besides myself still own and use 8-bit At
  52. ari computers !  :-)
