-
- First, let the "introduction" screen play long enough to actually see
- where Big Five's telephone number comes up. Jot it down, WITH area code.
-
- Then, while playing the game, type the digits of the telephone number,
- with area code. No punctuation, just the ten digits themselves.
-
- After that, you can hold down SHIFT-CONTROL plus any digit, and instantly
- jump to that level. Voila!
-
- (Incidentally, I remember once seeing a version of Miner 2049'er that someone
- had hacked to provide an "intro screen" that let you give yourself as many
- lives as you wanted and start on whatever level you wanted. I guess THAT
- person didn't know the existing "cheat" either! :-) )
-
- (I find the SHIFT-CONTROL-digit thing handy when pressed the INSTANT I GET
- KILLED, even just to re-invoke the level I just DIED on -- because you
- don't get "deducted" one life and can play "forever." Hmm, maybe it's
- actually that you have to press it the moment you see that you're GOING
- to get killed (i.e. while in the midst of a fall from a height, before
- actual impact.)
-
- Enjoy!
