- I have been perusing 'Mapping...' and I am not sure I understand a few things.
- There are Two memory locations that claim to be MEMTOP: 741,742 and 144,145.
- What is the difference? Are they always the same?
-
- As for the other locations, is this one possible configuration?
-
- -----------------
- | OS ROM |
- ----------------- RAMTOP (106)
- | screen mem |
- ----------------- MEMTOP (741,742 or pg.0 144,145)
- | Free Mem |
- ----------------- APPMHI (14,15)
- | Basic Prog. |
- ----------------- MEMLO (743,744)
- | Free mem |
- ----------------- LOMEM (128,129)
- | DOS |
- ----------------- RAMLO (4,5)
- | p.0 & OS RAM |
- -----------------
-
- Would this be correct for a possible memory set up? (ie. a user ML routine
- between LOMEM and MEMLO).
-
- Also: Does any know how to use the built in Relocatable Handler Routines
- in the XL/XE OS?
-
- Thanks a lot.......
