  12. An error on the boot block would not interfere with anything in ProSel,
  13. only with booting.  I suspect your problem was either with loading
  14. devices into the GS/OS device list (i.e. a bad OS program block, which
  15. ProSel wouldn't find because it only tests for block readability and
  16. directory information) or with what was stored in cache memory.
