- I had a chance to speak with Bill at length about this during the
- Kansasfest expo, and I asked him that direct question (Will it
- have an ADB port?). Bill was very frank, and said that he contacted
- Apple and would sell the ADB chips at $70 each. This is too
- expensive for the initial product, since Bill explicitly says the
- machine will have to be below $1000 to sell quantity (something
- about the public does not like things that are over 4 digits in
- price). His best estimate is that ADB would add about $200 to
- the end price-tag. So don't expect ADB.

- The Avatar will have IBM slots, so any device that works on the
- IBM will probably work on the Avatar.

- Bill says that he has all the specs ready, and will be releasing some
- summary notes soon (don't ask me what "soon" means, though). Hopefully
- these will make it to the internet when available.
