  14. I went ahead and called Zip Technologies yesterday to confirm the messages
  15. regarding the upgrades I read on here....Sure enough, one can send their Zip
  16. GS in for an upgrade to 12 or 14 MHz...Apparently, us Zip GS 8MHz people
  17. weren't informed of this upgrade, as the 9 and 10 MHz Zip users were...

  19. Anyway, the lady who answered the phone (I sincerely felt I had woken her up
  20. with my phone call) said that the upgrade was only effective for 30 days. It
  21. seems they are testing the initial response for the upgrade. The price for a
  22. brand new Zip GS running 14 MHz is roughly $650.00 + shipping, while the
  23. upgrade for others (without 64 K cache) is $400 (includes the 64 K cache)......
