  10. Someone recently posted a note on how to get this program to work
  11. with 6.0. That information is years old, and was given to people
  12. at the time due to RR not working with different HD controllers.
  13. Basically you edit the file MISC.RTNS and it removes the copy
  14. protection.

  16. The Learning Company charges a lot for their programs. They made lot's
  17. off GS users, schools, etc...Here is a good example of why people 
  18. are reluctant to spen $60 for a program. The Learning Company is a
  19. reputable company. Their programs, which cost a fortune no longer
  20. work on the GS. RR used to be one program that was demoed along with
  21. Cartooners on the GS, as the pC versions were terrible. RR has improved
  22. on the PC but where is the Learning Company when you need them? What do
  23. you tell the people who spent $300+ and find themselves with junk because
  24. of copy protection, etc...And people wonder why so few are willing to
  25. pay for sw.

  27. The GS and NeXT markets are too small to let down the developers using
  28. and supporting them. However I feel little sympathy for many, many
  29. companies who milked the platform dry and left.
