- This is just an educated guess: the 'address register' is probably the
- set of three I/O locations that the Apple uses to access memory in the
- PC Transporter (this 'address register' is used on all slot-based
- memory cards that are based on the Apple II Memory Expansion card,
- including the RamFactor and the PC Transporter).

- This means that the software running in the Apple is unable to
- reliably access the memory in the PC Transporter.

- I suggest you contact Applied Engineering. There is probably only one
- chip faulty, but it is almost certainly a custom chip.
