  17.     You have to somehow get the Mac driver installed on the cartridge, 
  18. since Macs have a driver on each hard drive they access.

  20.     ADU did tell you "this won't be readable on a Mac" or somesuch 
  21. similar notice when you formatted it, right?

  23.     One possible solution is to make ADU think that the drive is 
  24. actually an Apple drive, so it will install the Mac driver on it. You'd
  25. want to obviously try this on a new cartridge or one you don't mind
  26. reformatting.  After ADU makes a SCSI call to ask the drive what it is,
  27. manually change the data it's read back in.. Obviously GSBug and Nifty List
  28. are what you'd use to do this.

  32.     DUHH.. I think I just realized a *MUCH* easier solution.. (yet the
  33. above should work also if one knows enough about SCSI)  Format the 
  34. drive on the MAC, making one 32 megabyte partition, and the rest the next
  35. partition..

  37.     Then stick the drive in the GS and reformat the *first* HFS partition
  38. to be a ProDOS partition.
