- Yes, a couple of people have mentioned this, and it makes sense. The
- main reasons I wanted to offer email service were for automating the process
- from this end (and to allow feedback) and because sending a message is free
- for most people. An 800 number would be free for those that could use, but
- I'll have to determine if it's feasible (it's not free for the owner!) But
- if the response is good, which it seems to be so far, I will look into it.

-
- Well, I don't know how many people make a living off shareware, but a
- few people use it to supplement their income, and most people would like to
- get a little something for all of their efforts. They are spending their
- own time working on something when they could be using that time on
- something else or relaxing or whatever. Time is money, or whatever.
- Besides there are some excellent shareware (and freeware!) programs out
- there for the GS that could vary well make it as commercial programs in
- other markets, and these authors have also offered you the very valuable
- offer of letting you try-before-you-buy. I've bought a few bum programs in
- my day, and it's annoying to have spent your money on such junk.
-
-
- So far, the response has been very positive, but I've yet to hear from
- any authors - for good or bad. It's only been a day so I'm not worried,
- but I hope to hear from some of you soon. I'll keep you posted. Bye for
- now.
