  13. I have a C.V. Tech GS Ram card with a fully populated 1 MB Apple Memory
  14. Expansion card (yuck!) piggy-backed to it.  I have just ordered a ZIP GSx
  15. 8/16, and I want to know a couple of things...

  17. First of all, I'm not going to want to pay an arm-and-a-let just to get some
  18. more fast-cashe for the ZIP.  Has anyone (I know there have been people) filled
  19. their ZIPs with 64k cache on their own?  If you have, can you tell me what
  20. companies you used to buy your chips, what speed, and anything else you'd
  21. deam pertinent information for me to have?  I'd really appreciate some help.
  22. Keep in mind that I'm no electrical engineer, so I know the basics, but that's
  23. about it.  I would like to get my ZIP up to 64k cache the cheapest way I
  24. possibly can...and I know I can do it without ZIP Technologies.

  26. Secondly, I want to also get more memory into my C.V. Tech card.  I have been
  27. doomed by the AME card, but I can at least get more into the C.V. Tech.  What
  28. kind of chips should I get for it, and where should I get them?  Can someone
  29. also tell me how fast the chips should be?  I probably want to get about 2 more
  30. MegaBytes of memory, and if I can do this for under $60, I'd like to really
  31. try.

  34. me both in finding a memory card inexpensively, and also in helping me figure
  35. out things around the network.  Your help is really appreciated, and I hope to
