  19.   Exactly that. A sort of faint grinding sound! Perhaps your drive head's
  20. metal ID/shield plate is loose like mine was... If that's so, it should 
  21. eventually pop out one day when you eject a 3.5 disk.

  23. How long has it been making that grinding sound? Mine only lasted a few
  24. hours before the plate fell out.
