- When I first posted something about the GS and Amiga working together, a FST
- for Amiga disks is one thing I had in mind. NoiseTracker can import Amiga
- mod files, and I suspect other programs can do the same. I was a little
- disappointed with the response I had from my previous post. A couple people
- liked the idea of the two platforms "working" together, but I did get a rather
- strong response the other way, like the Amiga can do fine on its own and would
- not benefit. It seemed to me that the Amiga would be the best PC to have an
- emulator for the GS since it has built in sound and graphics capabilities, but
- I guess some Amiga owners feel it would be beneficial for the Amiga.
- Anyway, my prediction for the day is that Windows NT will pretty much
- corner the market at even what the Amiga is now doing. I have heard people say
- the Amiga is getting in the back door of businesses. Well so did the Mac, and
- I do not really see the Corporate World longing for System 8, they want Windows
- NT. Ok now that I went off on some terrible tangent, sorry about that. I
- think the Amiga would have a great place as a home computer, but it is not
- reaching for that market (the little I hear), and like the GS it would be great
- for the home. And there is always the I rather buy an Amiga than a Mac, but
- if my (future) amiga can not work with my GS at all, I would go for the MAC.
