  13. We have a Tektronix 4693DX printer hooked up to an Apollo
  14. network running Domain/OS 10.3.5.  We prf gpr bitmaps to
  15. the printserver to get hardcopy on the 4693DX.

  17. Tektronix is offering an upgrade for the 4693DX to turn it
  18. into a Phaser II PXi for $2K.
  19.  
  20. If we upgrade the printer, will we still be able to send
  21. gpr bitmaps to the printserver?  Will we have to convert the
  22. bitmaps to postscript?  Will the printserver convert them to
  23. postscript?  Can the Phaser II PXi handle bitmaps in addition to
  24. postscript files?  Can the Phaser II PXi be connected to an
  25. HP 720 running HP-UX and send it HP-GL files?  If so, what do I
  26. need on the HP side to send to the printer?
