  13.         Our university has a class B address (147.26) and a domain
  14.         (swt.edu), but does not have a master name server.  Most of
  15.         the Internet access from this university is via our VAX cluster
  16.         (yuk) and we use another university to resolve name requests.
  17.  
  18.         I look after a group of apollo nodes, one of which is connected
  19.         to the campus backbone ethernet.  This has enabled us to avoid
  20.         using the VAX :)  We also use the remote name server to resolve
  21.         names to addresses, but when we try to log into a site that
  22.         expects us to have a name we get rejected.

  24.         QUESTION:  how do I configure the apollos to have recognizeable
  25.                    names?
  26.         i.e. I would like to be able to connect to a site without being
  27.              told that our IP address does not resolve to a name and
  28.              then get rejected.
