- Hello Everyone,
-
- I currently am using Benchmark Modula-2 on my 2000. I called the folks at
- Avant Guard Software, and talked to somebody about the compatability of their
- M2 with WB2.04. I probably talked to Leon Frenkel, the developer. The person
- said that Benchmark was compatible. Once I upgraded to WB2.04 and started to
- look at it, I realized that to use 2.04 to it's fullest extent, upgrades to
- the module libraries would have to be written.
-
- Later, in this group, I believe, I saw a post regarding the programming
- languages available for the Amiga. The blurb about Benchmark indicated that
- there would be no new releases. Can anyone confirm this? I can say that I got
- the same impression when I called AGS.
-
- If AGS isn't going to produce a new release for 2.04, is there any interest in
- doing a grass roots effort to write updated modules? I'd be interested to
- find out how many other M2 users there are out there, and the feasability of
- working on the expansions over the net. You can mail me directly. I'll
- summarize and post.
