- Yeh, some have told me that scum spot do indeed stock SAS/C, but do you
- think they offer to check at other branches?? NO, their response is to be
- borderline rude, to dismiss my enquiry completely and say 'we don't stock that
- sort of thing'. WHAT is that supposed to mean ??? They sell me a $2000 system
- and expect me to play games on it !

- OH come on! Is a PC really THAT BAD?? I programmed on a DOS box for
- about 6 months, it was very frustrating, but it was a workable C environment.
- I must say that the though of interacting with DOS & WINDOWS makes me cringe.

- Yes, but I program C for a living, not the AMIGA (yet..), I need to
- have C, C++ with me NOW, look at the plethora of compilers available for the
- PC as compared to the (2?) amiga. Maybe I should go for a A3000 UNIX box
- instead...miles better than a 486.
-
- How much is a UNIX A3000 setup (workable..)???
- How much is a UNIX 486 setup ???

- Bye.
