- For those of us who have large hds but no tape drives, and, if you can afford
- to have one partition, unused, or as scratch, I have a 420 meg hard drive and
- the standard 50 meg hard drive with the 3000, and, I just made 8 equal
- partitions (by Num Cylinders), and I use one of them as a scratch... whenever
- one of them goes bad, (As long as I can read from it,) I just copy everything
- from the bad partition, to the scratch, format and recopy back. (I made them
- equal, so if I wonder if something bad is going to happen to a partition, I
- just diskcopy the partition first, and then feel free to play around as much as
- I want...
