- Line count is not the issue - a 110 baud modem sends/receives 10 blank lines
- (10 LF/$0a bytes) just as fast as it does 1 9 character line (plus end of
- line char). The .sig you complain about is fewer bytes than mine is -
- and mine is 3 long lines and 2 short ones.
