  13. Why is this file requester (ASL is I think the name) so slow getting
  14. directories?  I want to use it in a program but I hate how slow it is.  Is
  15. there another one that looks like it (I like the look and feel of 2.0) but
  16. gets faster directory listings.  I know it can be done because I have seen
  17. some *amazingly* fast file requestors in my time (Pixel 3D's comes to mind --
  18. that sucker flys!).  Unfortunately, I've also seen some *amazingly* slow
  19. ones.. i.e. ASL.  Any ideas?
