- Why is this file requester (ASL is I think the name) so slow getting
- directories? I want to use it in a program but I hate how slow it is. Is
- there another one that looks like it (I like the look and feel of 2.0) but
- gets faster directory listings. I know it can be done because I have seen
- some *amazingly* fast file requestors in my time (Pixel 3D's comes to mind --
- that sucker flys!). Unfortunately, I've also seen some *amazingly* slow
- ones.. i.e. ASL. Any ideas?
