  10. I posted a question three days ago about networking 6 a500's to a 3000
  11. and have of yet only received _TWO_ responses (thanks for your
  12. response guys).  Maybe this doesn't seem odd to you BUT IT'S DAMN
  13. FRIGHTENING TO ME!  Maybe it was my fault.   Maybe my subject line was
  14. too hard to  weed through all the C= speaks!!! let's spread the word
  15. posts.  Maybe COMMODORE'S BIGWHIGS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN NETWORKING.  IT SEEMS
  16. OBVIOUS AS ACCOURDING TO A POST BY ONE OF THEIR NETWORKING GURUS THEY
  17. _ONLY_ EMPLOY _THREE_ PEOPLE IN THIS CAPACITY. It seems to me that the
  18. Amiga has and if it continues to be a machine literally kept breathing
  19. by ITS CUSTOMER FANCATIC SUPPORT AND LOYAL _GENIUS_ THIRD PARTY DEVELOPERS.
  20. Increasingly customers are disgruntled and developers are broke.

  22. If we still subscribe to the notion that the Amiga is worth the
  23. trouble (I'd say it is) maybe people with the means (Arthur C. Clarke,
  24. Todd Rundgren, and other people with millions more than me) could lead
  25. a buyout attempt in the good American tradition.  I know I would buy
  26. some stock even with my paltry reserves.  Are there other people who
  27. would?

  29. Mr. Gould (That's the bosses name right?) bailed out commodore,
  30. apparently when noone else would, right?  Well, I think this time the
  31. Amiga needs not a bail-out,  IT NEEDS A RESCUE!  AND WE THE AMIGA
  32. COMMUNITY ARE JUST THE PEOPLE FOR THE JOB!!

  34. Oh, BTW, if you're looking to network, the only reasonable soloution
  35. is with the amiga implementation of SLIP called AmigaNOS.  AGAIN NOT A
  36. C= PRODUCT BUT THE PRODUCT OF ANOTHER BRILLANT MEMBER OF THE AMIGA
  37. COMMUNITY.
