- If the "rumors" in the A4000 article are right, the new machines
- are EXACTLY what the grumbling in these groups have been asking for.
- These things take time. (Although some of the grumbling in that
- article surprised me, the only thing I could see that might call for
- criticism was the lack of 8-bit alpha (transparency) support for
- sprites.)

- Add this to the current status of AmigaDOS 2.0 (and 2.1) and it
- looks like most of you won't have much to complain about come fall
- other than a lack of marketing, and I suspect that that will change
- too. If the new mid-range machine is a real killer that has everyone
- with a 500 lusting after it, advertising during the Christmas season
- will make lots of sense...
