- I did this once about two months ago. I sent about six weeks of
- posts from advocacy and other groups that were pro and anti CBM, but mostly
- negative towards CBM. And CBM responded publically with the Visp President
- of Engineering post. I then ceased sending them mail, since my terms were
- that CBM do something to reassure Amiga users that they listen.
-
- Now, they responded to the Robinson post. I see this as proof that
- they are listening to the community. In fact, when I first started mailing
- CBM I asked if they were receiving my articles and I received a one line
- response that I thought was funny at the time. "Go ahead. We are listening. :)"
-
-
- CBM has publically stated that they want Amiga users to get involved
- with their computers and its reputation, just as how one artist once offered
- to make demo tapes of Amiga graphics, and how another offered to make print
- ads for CBM for free. And others offered to send demos to dealers so that
- people walking in the store can see something exciting that the Amiga can
- do.
-
- Where does that leave us now? We need all of you out there to get
- involved by sending your ideas or complaints to CBM. If you can do print
- ads, videos, publishing, etc, mail CBM and offer them help or creative ideas.
- If you are good at complaining, email CBM and complain. If you are a
- journalist, offer your services. If you want to tell them what a great job
- they are doing, email them.
-
- I got my first developer kit today. I was pleased to find that I
- will now be better able to gain access to technical info and stuff. But as
- for what new systems or OSes CBM has, I am completely in the dark :). But
- I do have one quip; they spelled my name wrong.
-
- Their email address is suggestions@cbmvax.commodore.com, or
- something like that. I used to have it in my sig file to encourage others
- to email CBM. So get to it!
