- Ok, so CDTV prices are on the drop, and I've found out that they can
- be used as a CDROM to my 3000...nice !
-
- But the obvious now arises !!!
-
- Why would I * not * buy a CD ROM, and instead by a CDTV ??? I've been told
- the stand-alone CDROMs are usually faster than the CDTVs, so then for
- such storage I'd be wiser to get a CDROM. But, what would a CDROM do for
- me except handle large amounts of data ??? Are there any CDROM-specific
- applications that I would love to use....are there any CDTV pros/cons ??
-
- Let me have it all !!! I'm trying to decide between a CDTV and a CDROM
- for my 3000....
-
- Then of course is the question...I'm an Amiga Developer....what are the
- opportunities for me to develop on the CDTV ?? How much does it cost me ???
- How big is the potential market ???
-
- Ok, so I know all the above sounds like unprofessional ravings of a madman,
- but that is because my mind is torn between two directions....you can help
- me decide !!! If you have a CDTV and think its so much better than a CDROM,
- then tell me !!! If you have a CDROM and think its so much better than a
- CDTV, then tell me !!! If you have both, which is better and why ???
-
- Much thanks in advance,
-
- Robert.
