- Has anybody spotted a program in the Tools directory that goes by the
- name .. PrepCard ? It is part of WB2.05 (I am not sure about 2.04) No mention
- about it in the manual. Running it gives a requester : No card slot. This is
- obviously for the A600 but my machine is an A3000 I bought a few weeks ago.
- I did a hex read and all messages show up as text.It seems Many difrent cards
- are suported, writable ones too. Diffrent terms appear like flash rams and
- roms. You can format them as system ram, floppy disks. Capacities upto 2 meg
- are directly supported as well as non standard (possibly unlimited size) very
- intresting. It's amazing how CBM releses many products without any announcments
- nothing. All we get is: here it is have it. ie. A500+, A600 and others. (Well
- maybe forget the have it for many regeons in the world like US)
- Probably a card will be released for other machines, just like the CDROM for
- non A500 machines :-) Anywayz It looks like that port built for the A600 was a
- good idea. Let's wait (and wait and wait and wait) and see.
