- Doesn't anybody do this anymore? Maybe all you out there don't worry
- about the problem I describe below?
-
- I have some largish files, some pictures, some data, and, when backed up,
- would fit on a floppy by themselves. But the HD backup program I use (a
- shareware program that has since gone commercial) can cause quite a lot of
- wasted space on the floppies when the floppy is already partially used
- with smaller backed up files. The large file is placed on the next floppy
- making the remaining space of the backup-floppy wasted.
-
- What I'd really like is a backup program that would split that large file
- so that very little (preferably none) of the floppy to be wasted.
-
- Are there any HD backup programs out there that can do this? Now, before
- you respond, please note that I have a 1000 running 1.3, and, therefore,
- cannot run a backup program such as AmiBack, which will run only on 2.0.
-
- Thanx,
- Chris
