- The ROM change was only needed if you wanted the auto-boot feature (..
- and the booting from ram). So it was a software upgrade if you didn't
- want/need that feature. The 2.04 upgrade however _required_ a ROM
- change to work. As I understand the changes to ROMs for 2.1 are minimal
- (if they are to be done at all) and the 2.1 software will work with the
- 2.04 ROMs.
