- You obviously changed your startup-sequence and encountered one reason
- why this is officially *not* recommended. Point is this happens when
- some output appears in the DOS window, *before* Iprefs is called in
- the startup-sequence. Iprefs loads and activates all those prefs settings
- it finds in env-arc. So go back to the original startup-sequence, do your
- additions in a file user-startup (which is called *after* IPrefs), and
- all should work smoothly.
