  10. Presently, I have a solid knowledge base of computers including Apple ]['s,
  11. Macintoshes, and PC's.  Eventually, I will outgrow my present Apple ][GS's
  12. capabilities and I want to learn more about the Amiga.  If I tell you want I
  13. do know then you can tell me more of what I do not.
  14.      I know the Amiga is based on the motorola 68000 series as is the Mac, and
  15. even has 68040 accelerators at this point.  The Amiga also has four sound
  16. channels built in and has a dedicated graphic chip as well.  (Sound is import-
  17. ant to me since the Apple ][ has 15 channel stereo sound built in.)  What is
  18. the present resolution of the Amiga graphics screen, number of colors etc.  Are
  19. there DMA SCSI controllers with cache?  How many expansion slots/ ports does
  20. the Amiga have?  What bandwidth does the Amiga's bus run at?  Ok, I know I am
  21. asking for a lot of detail, but I want to be sure.

  23.      And software, are there desktop publishers that can print to lasr printers
  24. What developmental software exists for the machine, and finally, how much does
  25. it cost?
