- I recently added 32 bit memory to my A2000 and VXL-30. My question
- concerns F-16 Falcon. Before I added the 32 Bit memory, I was able
- to run Falcon with no problems. Now, I have to disable fast memory
- to run. Since the only change was the addition of 32 bit memory,
- I am looking for a reason! The memory was 60 ns burst mode memory,
- 2 MBs worth.
- 1) Is the burst mode causing the problem?
- 2) What type of software problem would cause a program not to run
- with 32 bit memory when it runs fine with 16 bit fast memory.
- I have an A2000, 1 MB chip, 4 MB 16bit ram, 2 MB 32bit ram, 40 Mhz VXL-30.
- If I run degrader and remove all fast ram, it runs fine. I have been
- puzzling over possible alignment problems looking for a reason, does
- anyone have ideas why this is so??
