- Greetings...
-
- I'm on the verge of buying a 25 MHz MMR (w/ mmu and fpu) and was wondering
- if anybody out there has a similar setup (A500 w/ 2.04 ROMs and a GVP
- Series II w/ 5 Meg RAM) and could tell me how the setup performs. Primarily
- I'm concerned about compatibility.
-
- I'm also considering getting 512K of static ram for the MMR... is there any
- point in doing this without getting additional 32-bit RAM? I'm kind of
- concerned that the first large application (ie. my term program) will
- suck up most of the static ram (and, in the case of a term program that is
- not my favourite scenario ;-) )...
-
- Lastly, if I DO just get the 512K of static ram, will loading the 2.0 ROMs
- into the static ram wield a significant speed increase?
-
- Thanks for any help.
