  12. We have an Amiga 1000 ("New To Us" :-) ), with 2.5 meg of memory (mostly
  13. in a MAXImega box), and a Xebec SCSI controller and 20 meg SCSI drive.

  15. The Xebec software is 1.2, (and won't format FFS), but runs just fine
  16. as a formatted drive under 1.3.
  17.  
  18. Questions:
  19.  
  20.    (1) Has anyone gotten this controller (it uses a scsi.device driver)
  21.        to format FFS manually? (The supplied software does not do anything
  22.        but OFS, and since it uses its own programs [i.e. scsimount] rather
  23.        than the more recent HDToolBox, I'm not sure if it will format
  24.        from the CLI)
  25.  
  26.    (2) Are there 1.3 Xebec Disks/Drivers/Etc out there? If so, is it
  27.        legitimate to pass them on, as Xebec seems to have passed into
  28.        the great beyond...
  29.  
  30.    (3) Has anyone used this under 2.04? Does anyone even know if this
  31.        driver (even if formatted to OFS) will work under 2.04? Since
  32.        the responses I've gotten have been (yes, no, perhaps, probably
  33.        not, probably will, and fifty fifty), I'd prefer to hear from
  34.        someone (anyone?) who is running one of these under 2.04?
