- Sorry about posting this to hardware instead of emulations, but they're
- to busy with that Emplant stuff.
-
- I have a A2286 bb in my 2000. I recently bought Borland C++ 3.0 to run on
- it. Well, I didn't read the fine print that I needed extended memory,
- I meg no less!
-
- I borrowed a PC memory board, configured it for extended memory, and
- stuck it in the 2000. No problem...
-
- I reinstalled TC++. Now TC++ comes up fine and seems to compile OK etc.,
- *BUT* the keyboard doesn't work properly. Now this is only with the
- IDE of TC++ (which uses protected mode), All of the other apps I have
- on the bb side work as usual.
-
- I have a post that was forwarded by a fellow named Peter Ouzts that
- was authored by Scott Drysdale of Commodore about a mod to the bb
- that helps the fake HD run faster. This mod has to do with the 8742
- chip on the bb and installing a jumper between pin 6 of the 8742 and pin
- 30 of J17A.
-
- Finally the question: Will this mod solve my problem also? Please E-Mail
- or post. Thank you.
