- Well, this is because the IDE control software is a device called
- "scsi.device" and takes the same software commands such that tools that
- work with SCSI drives (such as our HDToolBox) will continue to work.
- (That way we did not have to make an IDE-HDToolBox...)

- You can thank Randell Jesup for some rather nice code that translates the
- SCSI command into what it needs to do and then does it on the IDE.
