- from my question:
- >>>I've troubled with A500 (rev 6)
- >>>If I use the CLI, there is no problem within the overall system.
- >>>But when I try to open several drawers on workbench, the mouse and
- >>>keyboard locked and the screen frozen until I change the disket
- >>>in driver. I do not need to change disket but at least push/pull the
- >>>driver button once. The screen and inputs works after this but

- Hi again,
-
- The problem solved ! I have a semi-burned-up CIA.B B-(
-
- Thanks to Passi 'Albert' Ojala and Timo Rossi for their right answers.
- Special thanks to Timo Rossi for his great "Blitfix" program which
- solved my problem and I don't need to buy new CIA.
-
- Before this kludge, I solve this problem with another funny kludge!
- After, I saw that this freeze was solved by the disk change,
- I patch a wires and a little push button from driver's DSKCHG pin,
- I works with WB without problem, but I hold the mouse on my right hand
- and button on my left hand. I clicked right hand, when the system goes
- freeze, I push the left hand button to continue !
- This is great fun but worked well B-))
-
- Now, Timo Rossi solved my problem with his Blitflix hack.
- Blitfix is a little (only 90 bytes) graphic.library patch.
- If I understand right, my CIA.B TOD timer was broken and its
- affect to system blit sync.
-
- Thanks again,
-
