- From experience:
- Remember these to avoid being turned away at the stock holders meeting.
-
- 1) Make sure you have a picture ID with you verifying who you are.
- 2) Make sure you have NOT voted your stock. They won't let you in,
- even if you are a share holder if you've already voted your stock.
- 3) If your stock is held in a street name then it won't appear on
- their list of stock holders. This causes them lots of fits. So you
- must have extra documentation showing that you indeed are the actual
- stock owner. Best to get something from the brokerage firm in
- writing stating that you will be voting your stock in person.
- 4) Do not bring a video camera along to video tape the proceedings.
- 5) If you hold proxies for other shareholders then make sure they are
- all done legal+. Commodore's legal counsel may tell you that you must
- have a signed power of attorney for the people who's proxies you hold.
- Or if their stock is also in a street name, you will need power of
- attorney from the brokerage firm. I think what you will need is a
- notorized statement from the holder of the stock certificate stating
- that they have not voted the stock and that they are transfering the
- voting proxy to you, and want their shares to be voted at the
- stock holders meeting in person by you.
