- Here's another hardware project question. I've heard of a tiny device
- that
- allows the use of an IBM style keyboard on an Amiga 2000. I'm doing some
- fixin' up in the Penn State Amiga lab, and repaired a broken A2000, and
- want
- to have it ready for fall classes. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a
- keyboard for it anywhere. I'd really prefer to get a standard Amiga
- keyboard
- for it, but in case the department doesn't have the cash for a new one,
- they
- DO have an extra IBM keyboard in storage. So my questions...
-
- 1) What's the name of the commercial IBM keyboard adapter?
- What does it retail for?
-
- 2) Are there plans to build one of these adapters for a
- few
- dollars instead? I'd prefer to just solder something
- together quickly so we can use the system now instead
- of
- when we can afford a new or used Amiga keyboard.
-
- Thanks in advance!
