- There's a lot more you can do with 2.0, I would guess you didn't ever tried
- to check this out?

- Downward compatibilty! There is no downward compatibility and what is more:
- there is no requirement for it! It's ok to have upward compatibility, so
- you don't need to throw away your old programs. But if you insisted in
- downward compatibility, you'd still use a C64 today - or a PET 2001!
-
- In a few words: you cannot have downward compatibility and expect technical
- upgrades at the same time. Just take a look at what MS-DOS worked out to
- become under these circumstances!
-
- The other thing is that 2.0 offers a lot of handy routines that 1.3 doesn't
- have. - I find it understandable that programmers don't want to program
- that same old stuff over and over, if it's already contained in 2.0's OS!
- And 2.0 also offers possibilities that 1.3 doesn't have.
-
- So, c'mon! Don't try to stop progress (which never works, anyway :-)! Go
- and get 2.0, it's well worth its money! It's the best soft I ever bought
- for that amount! :-)
