- It died when CBM added a host of new libraries and entry points that
- make doing lots of things easier; in some cases it makes them
- possible. Software that is given away is generally written because
- the author wants it. The extra functionality provided by 2.0 is a
- major boon to programmers who don't have to worry about "market share"
- (say 80% of them), so they're quick to use it. If you need something
- other than what they need, you're probably going to have to write it
- yourself.
