- A German company called Macro System sells a card called 'Maestro'. It is a
- half length zorro II card and it fits in any A2000 or A3000.
- This card can convert the raw CD or DAT data stream to the computer.
-
- The software allows you to resample the data at the usual commercial speeds
- and convert it to 8 bit code for use with the built in DACs.
- The company claims it can directly store the data on HD, BUT only if you use
- their special HD-controller. Usually data is stored in memory.
-
- I never had this card, so ...
-
- Hope this helps.
