- I have (finally) decided to replace the agnes chip in mt A500 and upgrade to
- 1M of chip ram, before I go ahead there are a couple of questions that I
- would like to ask:
-
- 1: My 1/2 M ram upgrade is the a501 from Commodore (bought 1989). I have heard
- that some of the eralier A501's are too slow to be used as chip ram. Do
- anyone know when Commodore started to produce 'full speed' a501's??
-
- 2: Are there any known (fatal) consequenses of using the slower version
- (in case I decide to try anyway)
