  11. I have (finally) decided to replace the agnes chip in mt A500 and upgrade to
  12. 1M of chip ram, before I go ahead there are a couple of questions that I
  13. would like to ask:

  15. 1: My 1/2 M ram upgrade is the a501 from Commodore (bought 1989). I have heard 
  16.    that some of the eralier A501's are too slow to be used as chip ram. Do
  17.    anyone know when Commodore started to produce 'full speed' a501's??

  19. 2: Are there any known (fatal) consequenses of using the slower version
  20.    (in case I decide to try anyway)
