- As I understand, it's caused by old slow disk drives which are "out of
- spec" (on the "settle time"?) Apparently C= managed to speed up the
- code in Release 2 sufficiently to make some marginal drives no longer
- work. The code now operates at "spec," and these drives don't.

- I believe there are some "trackdisk" hacks available which "fix" the
- driver to handle these slow drives. Maybe a future SetPatch too!
