- I've recently run into a problem and need some help.
- My hardware configuration is as follows:
-
- Amiga 2000 (5MB)
- A2091 controller
- 105S Quantum prodrive
- 40S Quantum prodrive
- Archive Viper 2150s
-
- I'm running Amibcak 2.0c and am having lots of trouble finishing a
- complete, or full, backup. What happens is that the controller will
- go into a solid lock, with the activity light on continuously, during
- a backup operation. I've rerun the backups many times with the controller
- hosed up at different points each time. The rest of the system is fine
- but anything requiring going to the hard drive just hangs.
-
- I've checked all connections and terminators and they all seem fine.
- Bad tapes don't seem to be the problem as I tried many different ones
- and still haven't had any success. The only thing I've done recently
- is to replace my internal floppy with a new one. I'm starting to suspect
- my controller or tape drive as the culprit. Any suggestions would be
- highly apprecieated. Thanks.
