- You don't say what machine you have, but I assume you have your HD light on
- one of those little PC boards in the front of the machine. After repeatedly
- taking off and putting on the cover to my A3000, I noticed that my power
- LED stopped working even though the computer was okay. It turned out to
- be a tiny crack in a trace on the little PC board that left the LED without
- power. I patched it with a small piece of wire and all was well.
