- Well, it's GVP. Personally, I decided on the route you're talking about - I
- bought a Goldengate card and put in an IBM serial board. For under $100 I
- have two serial ports in addition to the internal on my 3000. (GG card was
- $90 assembled, the serial card was free but normally costs around $8) Some
- other I/O cards for the IBM also have an output-only parallel port suitable
- for printers, and joystick ports and etc. The GG card can let almost any
- I/O device from the IBM world work on the Amiga, though you might have to
- write your own driver (it comes with serial and parallel devices).
-
- Actually, I'm having a few problems with garbage but it does work sorta and
- the serial card I'm using is old and was being given away so I'm inclined
- tto blame it.
