  15. In case you missed the posting, I have organized a Siggraph Special Interest
  16. Group meeting for Amiga 3D graphics and animation. Unless something unexpected
  17. happens, it will be from 3-5pm on Wednesday July 29 in Lobby Room 12, East
  18. Building of McCormick Place. I had planned to have a complete setup with
  19. VCRs and Amigas but the wonderful labor unions of Chicago feel I should
  20. pay them $140 just so they can watch me hook up my equipment. This is more
  21. than I am willing to shell out for just a get together. In any event, we
  22. will still meet but we will have to hunt down some other equipment to show
  23. any demo tapes you bring (perhaps in the animation screening room like we
  24. did last year).

  26. Also, there is a Video Toaster gathering scheduled from 1-4pm on Tuesday
  27. (not sure of the location). This event will be completely outfitted with
  28. Amigas, VCRs, and a projection system. I urge you to check it out. I will
  29. be there from 1-2pm after which I must take on the role of "booth babe"
  30. at the exhibition. Hope to see ya all there in Chicago.
