  13. I was thinking of buying another rendering package, (I have Imagine 
  14. + 'Understanding Imagine 2.0' which should be sold WITH Imagine ...).

  16. The 2 programs I was thinking about were (no laughing):

  18. Caligari 2.0 vs. Draw 4D pro
  19.  
  20. I didn't know what 4D Pro could do until I saw a very cool demo reel 
  21. on video produced by serveral users and such. What I saw though, was
  22. only the OUTPUT, or the rendering quality, what I need to know is what
  23. the interface and speed is like, compared to Imagine and LightWave.

  25. I've played with an older version of Caligari briefly at a friends house, 
  26. and I've only seen one picture of the 2.0 quality of the output (ROOM-2.jpg).
  27. I have downloaded the demo of the 2.0 software, and I'm going through it 
  28. now.  I can't seem to find the 'Full-Render' button, but then again, it is 
  29. just a demo...  (PS. Thanks Harv, for posting the demo!)

  31. I just want a fairly fast, nice rendering package, ray-tracing not needed,
  32. or, maybe selective ray-tracing yes, for use with DCTV...
