  21.   Most every service has direct connect lines, but are the ones for Portal
  22. 9600bps with no extra charges?  If so, then this is certainly an advantage
  23. that BIX used to have until late last year.  At least they priced it
  24. reasonably so that using the 9600 indial is not prohibitive and the speed
  25. difference offsets the price over a Telenet 2400bps indial.

  32.   If all you're concerned about is Amiga support, than I'd have to agree that
  33. CIS is not the best alternative.  If you have other interests CIS might be the
  34. better choice over GEnie, if only for a much better messaging system.  CIS also
  35. offers a lot of professional services, albeit at extra cost as well, but if
  36. you need them it's there.

  39. over 5 years.
